Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born November 24 the 24th of November, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was previously a politician, and a TV host on MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and the co-host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball have made it clear they would not be on the show, at the end of May in 2021. They wanted to start their own project, which they named Breaking Points. Ball is the co-host of the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared as a guest on networks such as CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball is able to attribute her new political interest due to her experience as pregnant during the 2008 presidential primaries, and watching the results of the 2008 US presidential election while working in Jordan. She was able to observe the impact it affected the people of her home country and gained an appreciation for the worldwide reach of US politics. She was part of the Senior Fellowship of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st district for the 2010 election, losing to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. From June 2012 through July 2015, she was the co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. She founded the People's House Project (a political action committee that is dedicated to Democratic causes) in May 2017.
